Independent evaluation of the relationship between BRCA2 expression and patient outcomes in our cohort of advanced ovarian cancer cases revealed that BRCA2 expression levels did not impact overall survival (log-rank p = 0.198) and progression-free survival (log-rank p = 0.15) in patients with optimal cytoreduction (Figure S2), whereas independent evaluation of MAGEC3 expression in our previous study revealed that women with MAGEC3 loss had better progression-free survival (log-rank p = 0.002) [36].
