Furthermore, since not only HER2 but also the p53 protein is encoded in chromosome 17, and both carry prognostic potential in bladder cancer, both are also frequently tested by immunohistochemistry in routine diagnostics; therefore, we also wanted to investigate whether they could provide added prognostic value to the copy number alterations of chromosome 17 and the updated EAU risk table [15,20].
