Similarly, the mixture of CARMz T and CARP T cells lysed H460-MSLN-GL cells, a lung cancer cell line that highly expresses both MSLN and PD-L1 (Supplementary Figs. 2a, 4a), more efficiently and secreted more IL-2 and IFN-γ than separated cultures of CARMz T cells, while CARP T cells only had mild killing activity to target cells and produced very minimal amounts of cytokines (Supplementary Fig. 4b, c).
