The AUC for distinguishing MCI/AD from SCD for plasma pTau181 (AUC, 0.74 [95% CI, 0.65–0.84]) was significantly lower than that for tau PET BPND in entorhinal (0.89 [95% CI, 0.83–0.96], DeLong P < 0.001), temporal (0.92 [95% CI, 0.87–0.98], P < 0.001), and neocortical (0.89 [95% CI, 0.83–0.95], P = 0.005) ROIs (Fig. 2C).
