BAG3 and breast cancer: CCK-8 assay, BrdU assay, wound healing assay, transwell assay and flow cytometry assay showed that miR-135a-5p overexpression significantly inhibited cell growth, migration, and invasion and blocked cell cycle progression in G0/G1 phase compared with the control group, and overexpressing BAG3 reversed these effects; miR-135a-5p inhibition remarkably promoted the malignant biological behaviors of BC cells, while silencing BAG3 counteracted these effects (Fig. 4B-F).
