Several genes (CLC, EMR4P, IL- 5RA, FRRS1, HRH4, SLC29A1, SIGLEC8, and IL1RL1) have been identified to be overexpressed in allergic diseases such as asthma, dermatitis and rhinitis, with IL-5/JAK/STAT and IL-33/ST2/IRAK/TRAF pathways being central in disease multimorbidity, both in children and adoloscents (103). This evidence concerns the gene IL1RL1 and allergic disease.
