Mutations in the γ2 subunit of AMP-activated protein kinase (PRKAG2) gene are known to cause an energetic disease affecting the myocardium [7] and previous studies have confirmed that they can cause Wolff-Parkinson-White (WPW) syndrome, HCM, ventricular pre-excitation and very few symptoms of myopathy [7–9]. Here, PRKAG2 is linked to Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome.
