The discovery of rare alleles linked to plasma lipids (i.e., low-density lipoprotein cholesterol [LDL-C], high-density lipoprotein cholesterol [HDL-C], total cholesterol [TC], and triglycerides [TG]) continue to yield important translational insights toward coronary artery disease (CAD), including PCSK9 and ANGPTL3 inhibitors now available in clinical practice1–5. Here, ANGPTL3 is linked to coronary artery disorder.
