Our data provide evidence that blocking AGTR1 using losartan, a commercially available angiotensin receptor blocker, induces cell death in TSC2-deficient cells from two different origins, ELT3 cells derived from an TSC2-deficient Eker rat uterine leiomyoma (46), and 105K cells derived from a renal tumor in a TSC2 heterozygous mouse (59). This evidence concerns the gene AGTR1 and uterine corpus leiomyoma.
