FN1 and Splenomegaly: While, there was a significant difference in the likelihood of developing large splenomegaly (over 10 cm from the costal margin): patients with elevated EDA-FN plasma concentrations at diagnosis were more than five times as likely to progress to large splenomegaly with respect to those with normal levels of EDA-FN (HR, 5.53; 95% CI, 1.21-25.64; P=0.027) (Figure 2).
