In the case of the group in which phage treatment was administrated 1 day after infection (group 6), Tc CD8+ levels were not significantly different from the values obtained in the uninfected control groups (groups 1 and 2) on day 6 (termination 1), while on day 20 (termination 2, p ≤ 0.05) and on day 28 (termination 3, p ≤ 0.05), the levels were significantly reduced compared to groups 2 and 1, respectively. The gene discussed is CD8A; the disease is infection.
