The associations between SNPs in 19q13.32 (APOE, APOC1, NECTIN2, TOMM40, BCAM, CEACAM16, CBLC, APOC4, BCL3, RELB, CLPTM1, NKPD1, CEACAM19, PVR, IGSF23, CLASRP, TRAPPC6A and PPP1R37) and CAD and circulating levels of CTF1 contributed to the identification of the causal association between circulating levels of CTF1 and CAD. This evidence concerns the gene CLPTM1 and coronary artery disorder.
