Table 3 shows that the three genes all belong to ferroptosis driver genes, which obviously have the function of promoting ferroptosis. As shown in Supplementary Figure S1B, the expression levels of ATG7 and MAPK9 were higher in CRC tissues than in normal tissues. The expression of MMD in normal tissues was higher than that in CRC tissues. In addition, we found that the expression of these genes decreased with tumor progression (Supplementary Figure S1C), but it was not statistically significant. Here, ATG7 is linked to colorectal carcinoma.
