Salehipour et al. (2017) in an animal study evaluated the effect of administering several bacterial strains, especially plantarum A7 on experimental model of MS, and the results showed that mice receiving probiotics had a significant improvement in the level of anti-inflammatory factors, including TGF-β1 and FOXP3 and significant reduction in the serum levels of IL-17 and IFN-γ. This evidence concerns the gene FOXP3 and myeloid sarcoma.
