METTL3 and glioblastoma: 4 genes (FTO, ALKBH5, LRPPRC, TRMT6) were downregulated in tumor tissues, whereas the other 16 genes were upregulated in tumor tissues including METTL3, METTL14, and NSUNA. Upregulated expression of METTL3 has been reported to increase resistance to temozolomide (TMZ) in patients with GBM and inhibit resensitization of drug-resistant GBM to TMZ by METLL3 (26).
