It is reported that ANLN participates in the HMGA2-induced increase in the tumorigenicity of pancreatic cancer cells and through controlling the EZH2/miR-218-5p/LASP1 axis, ANLN deficiency dramatically reduces pancreatic tumor cell migration and invasion (Wang et al., 2019; Guo et al., 2020). This evidence concerns the gene ANLN and familial pancreatic carcinoma.
