To study the functional role of TLR signaling in the B. animalis- or lactate-mediated protection against AP, we established a caerulein-induced SAP model in PBS- or Abx-treated Tlr4−/− or Myd88−/− mice and their respective wild-type (WT) parents C57BL/10JGpt (referred to as B10/WT) and B6/WT mice. This evidence concerns the gene TLR4 and alkaline phosphatase measurement.
