Serum levels of Ang II and N-terminal pro B-type natriuretic peptide (NT-proBNP), markers of heart failure and remodeling, were significantly increased in TAC mice treated with PBS (Fig. 3D, E, n = 12, P < 0.01 vs. sham), which were reversed in TAC mice treated with CON-EXO or HHP-EXO (n = 8–12, P < 0.05 or P < 0.01 vs. PBS).
