In conclusion, this study suggests that miR-200a-3p can differentially regulate the proliferation and metastasis of cervical cancer cells in an HPV-related manner, and miR-200a-3p-mediated functional changes of YAP also exert differential effects on the tumorous cells’ fate in HPV-negative and HPV-positive cervical cancer. This evidence concerns the gene YAP1 and cervical carcinoma.
