YAP1 and cervical carcinoma: This study was thus conducted to investigate the differential effects of either miR-200a-3p or YAP on tumorous cells’ fate in vitro in HPV-negative and HPV-positive CC cell models, and then to explore if the changes in proliferation, migration and invasion of CC cells under different HPV statuses could be attributed to the differential molecular interactions between miR-200a-3p and YAP, which might give insights with clinical importance into a rational explanation about the progression and metastasis of HPV-negative cervical cancer.
