Several studies showed that ITGA5 is expressed in several organs of the human body, but its expression varies among different organs and is highly expressed in a variety of human tumors, such as esophageal cancer [24], colorectal cancer [25], hepatocellular carcinoma [26], glioma [27], ovarian cancer [28], bladder cancer [29, 30], breast cancer [31, 32], and oral cancer [8, 9]. Here, ITGA5 is linked to ovarian carcinoma.
