As shown in Table 2, after adjusting for age, BMI, hemoglobin, albumin, calcium, phosphorus, CRP, AMC, protein, and MIS, multivariate analysis showed that the TyG index was positively associated with sarcopenia (OR 9.97; 95% CI, 2.90–34.23; p < 0.001). This evidence concerns the gene CRP and sarcopenia.
