As shown in Table 2, after adjusting for age, BMI, hemoglobin, albumin, calcium, phosphorus, CRP, AMC, protein, and MIS, multivariate analysis showed that the TyG index was positively associated with sarcopenia (OR 9.97; 95% CI, 2.90–34.23; p < 0.001). The gene discussed is ALB; the disease is sarcopenia.
