Subclinical seizures detected on EEG (20) or other characteristics, such as dynamic evolution and the involvement of the perisylvian region, have been reported for autoimmune encephalitis, including anti-LGI1 antibody-positive encephalitis (21, 26), indicating the utility of EEG for diagnosing autoimmune epilepsy. Here, LGI1 is linked to autoimmune encephalitis.
