IL6R and Behcet disease: In BD, higher levels of IL-6 soluble receptor (sIL-6R) were associated with lower cortical thickness in the middle temporal gyrus (Tu et al., 2017), lower grey matter volumes in cerebellum, striatal, parietal, temporal, and frontal cortexes (Bai et al., 2020), and abnormal rs-FC between medial prefrontal cortex and other regions deeply involved in mood regulations such as amygdala, hippocampus, insula, putamen, pallidum, and subgenual ACC (Tu et al., 2017).
