AKT1 and urinary bladder carcinoma: Urothelial cancer-associated 1 (UCA1) was highly expressed in bladder cancer and regulated the cAMP response element-binding protein, chromatin remodeling factor, phosphoinositide 3-kinase, protein kinase B, and Wnt pathways, to promote bladder cancer cell proliferation (Wang et al., 2006; Wang et al., 2008; Fan et al., 2014).
