Based on bioinformatics and biological proofs, Pin1 and ADAM10 could be the most important targets for miR‐140‐5p in AD‐related conditions11, 19 and the role of miR‐140‐5p as a negative post‐transcription regulator of pin1 has been indicated in recent publications (Yan et al., 2017; Heidari et al., 2018).
