Similar results were also reported in several other tumors, such as glioma [13], small cell lung cancers [15], skin cancer [16], oligodendrogliomas [17] and early-stage squamous cell carcinoma of the uterine cervix [18], in which LRIG2 was reported up-regulating in such tumor tissues and negatively correlated with the prognosis of patients. The gene discussed is LRIG2; the disease is oligodendroglioma.
