Andrographolide can inhibit tumor activity: It was found that andrographolide inhibited the expression of Mir-21-5p and further promoted the expression of PDCD4 by inhibiting the NF-κB signaling pathway in a mmTV-PYMT breast cancer metastatic transgenic tumor mouse model to inhibit the proliferation, migration, and invasion of McF-7 breast cancer cells in vitro (Li et al., 2021). This evidence concerns the gene PDCD4 and breast carcinoma.
