Andrographolide can also inhibit the growth, migration, and apoptosis of human glioma u87-MG cells by up-regulating the expression of apoptosis-related proteins caspase-3, Bax, and PARP and down-regulating the expression of anti-apoptotic protein Bcl-2 (Huang et al., 2020), thereby exerting its anti-glioma activity.
