Compared with the control group (shRNA-control), the transfection of the S100A16.0 knockdown vector (shRNA-S100A16) dramatically suppressed the production of VEGF, VEGFR2, and phosphorylated AKT (p-Akt) in renal cancer cells but had no impact on the expression of total Akt (Figure 10(b)).
