PET/CT imaging can clearly and intuitively reflect the metabolic changes of tumor cells and detailed metabolic image changes in the establishment of treatment plans for malignant tumors, identification of benign and malignant pulmonary nodules (15), identification of radiation necrosis and tumor recurrence in glioma patients (16), non-invasive prediction of epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) mutations in lung adenocarcinoma (17), and other clinical problems; the diagnostic accuracy of PET/CT radiomics analysis is expected to be superior to traditional methods. This evidence concerns the gene EGFR and glioma.
