AKT1 and central nervous system cancer: Low expression of miR-637 leads to up-regulation of the expression levels of HEMGN in PTC [12], NUPR1 in OSCC [35], and AKT1 in glioma [9, 69] and PDAC [23], thereby activating the PI3K/AKT signaling pathway and inhibiting the reproduction and growth of cancer cells.
