Findings from the study conducted by Lips and colleagues [32] involving 117 patients with HR+, HER2− BC receiving NAC showed that PR-negative cancers were significantly related to the increased pCR rate than PR-positive cancers (7.4 vs. 2.8%; p = 0.15), with evidently increased breast pCR/near pCR ratio among PR-negative cases (35.3 vs. 11.7%; p < 001). This evidence concerns the gene ERBB2 and breast cancer.
