Emerging evidence suggests lncRNAs could bind to PRC2 and directly regulate the expression of specific genes, for instance, LINC00673 repressed LATS2 expression by recruiting PRC2 to the promoter, subsequently promoting gastric cancer development and progression [27], and lncRNA GHET1 could epigenetically repress transcription of KLF2 by recruiting PRC2 to KLF2 promoter in hepatocellular carcinoma cells [28].
