Further literature search revealed that one related report on 18F-FDG PET imaging was used to determine whether Dovitinib (a multitarget-tyrosine kinase inhibitor targeting FGFRs 1-3, VEGFRs, FLT3, c-Kit, PDGFR, and other receptor tyrosine kinases) altered tumor glucose metabolism and subsequent clinical outcome in a phase II study of 15 patients with recurrent or metastatic adenoid cystic carcinoma. This evidence concerns the gene PDGFRB and neoplasm.
