Iridium dioxide nanoparticles (IrO2 NPs) with exceptional catalase-like activity and PTT effects were synthesized by a hydrolysis method and decorated with zeolitic imidazolate framework-8 (ZIF-8) shell layer to promote the physical absorption of Chlorin e6 (Ce6), and further functionalized with bovine serum albumin-folate acid (BSA-FA) for targeting tumor cells. The gene discussed is ALB; the disease is neoplasm.
