Most recently, a comparative study of Wi-N, CAPE, and Wi-A showed that Wi-N and Wi-A could inhibit EGFR (Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor) and its mutant forms in the EGFR-driven lung carcinoma, while CAPE could strongly inhibit wild-type EGFR (Malik et al., 2021). The gene discussed is EGFR; the disease is lung carcinoma.
