High expression of centromere protein H (CENPH) is suggested to predict the poor prognosis of patients with tongue cancer [9], whereas overexpression of kinetocentromeric protein M (CENPM) can promote the occurrence of liver cancer [10], and overexpression of kinetocentromeric protein F (CENPF) can promote the development of NPC, GISTs and breast cancer (BC) [11]. This evidence concerns the gene CENPF and nasopharyngeal carcinoma.
