APOB and hypertensive disorder: Patients with hypertension who were APOE rs7412T/T homozygous had higher TG levels (2.74 ± 2.36 mmol/L vs. 1.76 ± 1.73 mmol/L in C/C and 1.74 ± 1.64 mmol/L in C/T, P=0.013), higher TC levels (5.24 ± 2.07 mmol/L vs. 4.93 ± 1.41 mmol/L in C/C and 4.54 ± 1.35 mmol/L in C/T, P < 0.001), lower LDL-C levels (2.11 ± 0.79 mmol/L vs. 2.78 ± 0.99 mmol/L in C/C and 2.38 ± 0.89 mmol/L in C/T, P < 0.001), and lower Apo-B levels (0.67 ± 0.25 g/L vs. 0.86 ± 0.29 g/L in C/C and 0.76 ± 0.27 g/L in C/T, P < 0.001) (Table 3).
