MTHFR and Hypertension: In the same way, the APOE rs7412T/T genotype in the co-dominant mode (T/T vs. C/C) (adjusted OR 2.682, 95% CI 1.072–6.710, P=0.035) was a significant risk factor for hypertension, while the MTHFR rs1801133 polymorphism in these genetic modes was not a significant risk factor for hypertension (Table 5).
