CA9 and neoplasm: Stability experiments showed that Zr-MOF-QU was stable under normal physiological conditions and was dissociated into Zr2+ and 1,4-benzenedicarboxylic acid in an acid tumor microenvironment, so that when exposed Zr-MOF-QU to the tumor site, 1,4-benzenedicarboxylic acid is broken down from Zr-MOF and bound to Zn2+ of CAIX to inhibit its catalytic activity.
