The same infection assay revealed that the P-ACE2 cells coexpressing CD133, CDH17, and VAPA had approximately 2- to 3-fold significantly more number of GFP-positive cells than the P-ACE2 cells, but not the P-ACE2-GPC3 negative control cells, indicating the ability of these candidate proteins to enhance pSARS-CoV-2 infection (Fig. 6, F and G).
