Similarly, chemokines (e.g. CXCL1, CXCL2, and CXCL5) that play a pivotal role in neutrophil recruitment to sites of infection and injury (Rajarathnam et al., 2019) were induced 2–3 orders of magnitude, whereas CXCL12/SDF‐1 (Schwartz et al., 2015) and adhesion G‐protein coupled receptor F5 (ADGRF5, GPR116) expression was unaffected (Zaidman et al., 2020).
