MYOF and pancreatic neoplasm: The depletion of MYOF from lipogenic pancreatic cancer cells was found to inhibit ATP production and trigger autophagy, and MYOF has been reported to affect intracellular levels of reactive oxygen species (ROS) (22), Although MYOF was found to regulate EGFR and its downstream epithelial mesenchymal transition (EMT) in nasopharyngeal carcinoma (24), suggesting that MYOF ameliorates metastasis of several types of cancer, the complex processes by which MYOF regulates the migration of gastric cancer cells remain incompletely understood.
