A survey of cDNA of H. pylori virulence genes in gastric biopsy specimens revealed the lowest and highest frequencies for cagE and oipA (Outer Inflammatory Protein) in gastritis patients and sabAB (Sialic Acid Binding Adhesin) (the gastric biopsy samples with both H. pylori sabA and sabB genotypes infection), oipA, and cagT in gastric adenocarcinoma patients, respectively (Table 7). This evidence concerns the gene DDX53 and gastric adenocarcinoma.
