It should be noted that only 14 genes for the generation of the risk score existed in the Japan-HCC data, so the risk score was calculated by these 14 genes (CDH10, CLDN6, EPO, FCN3, GNGT1, HOXA7, ITGAM, KIF24, MSC, PFN2, SEPT14, TEX15, TTK, and YJEFN3) and their corresponding risk coefficients. Here, GNGT1 is linked to hepatocellular carcinoma.
