It is worth noting that the top 25 (The highest combined effect size) up-regulated genes, including NFE2, CYFIP1, PDK4, CTNNA1, MS4A4A, KYNU, CHST15, RBM47, SORT1, GCNT1, and ATP6V0A1 (Table 2), which are many of the blood-derived-transcriptomes and have been found associated with the pathogenesis of PAH and cardiovascular diseases (Yuan et al., 2016; Goettsch et al., 2017; Luo et al., 2017). The gene discussed is ATP6V0A1; the disease is pulmonary arterial hypertension.
