CD8A and infection: Unlike the slight decrease in antigen-specific CD8 T cells from day 7 to day 50 in convalescents, the KCONVAC vaccination induced a continuous increase in antigen-specific CD8 T cells (Figure 5b,c) and an even higher percentage of antigen-specific CD8 T cells than convalescents at day 50 (after boosted vaccination of infection) (Figure 5b,c).
