RGS2 and COVID-19: The highly correlated expression of RGS2 with CXCL8, PTGS2, NAMPT, ILB1 and further inflammatory genes in COVID-19 positive nasopharyngeal swabs (Figure 1, Figure 2, Figure 3, Figure 4 and Figure 5, Table 1) suggests the involvement of a common regulator, which might explain the distinct classes of COVID-19 symptoms.
