SLC6A3 and myeloid sarcoma: Moreover, neonatal MS induces hypofunction of dopaminergic transmission in adolescent rats (with DAT overexpression and upregulation of D1 receptors) that is decreased by CE-123, an atypical DAT inhibitor (as indicated in our preliminary study in the hippocampus), leading to amelioration of the spatial memory impairment in MS rats.
