IL10 and infection: Infected and vaccinated individuals can produce a broader repertoire of antibodies [108,112] and Spike-B cells [109,113], and their T cells not only recognize multiple proteins [107,108,109] but also are characterized by a functional profile of IFN-gamma and low IL-10 production, that characterizes asymptomatic SARS-CoV-2-infected individuals [26] and, in mice, is associated with protection from infection without overt lung pathology [71,72].
