There were no significant differences in the levels of TWIST1, SNAI1, NR5A2, MYC, CXCR2, STK11, POU5F isoforms A, B, B1 (OCT4A, OCT4B, OCT4B1, respectively), and HMGA2 in tumor-adjacent tissues, depending on cancer cell presence (TA vs. TAc), except miR-205-5p the expression of which was significantly higher in cancer cell-containing tumor-adjacent samples (Figure 2, Figure 3 and Figure 4). This evidence concerns the gene MYC and cancer.
