CRP and metastatic melanoma: Our long-term prediction model of the overall survival showed a good prediction power with a concordance index of 0.78 and suggested that sex (p < 0.001), ICI agent (p < 0.001), and blood parameters such as c-reactive protein (p < 0.001), erythrocytes (p < 0.001), and lymphocytes (p = 0.021) were strong biomarkers that were predictive of the overall survival in metastatic melanoma patients (Figure 5).
