CRP and metastatic melanoma: Our long-term prediction model of the progression-free survival showed a good prediction power with a concordance index of 0.76 and suggested that sex (p < 0.001), ICI agent (p < 0.001), and blood parameters such as c-reactive protein (p = 0.006), erythrocytes (p = 0.013), and lymphocytes (p = 0.017) were strong biomarkers that were predictive of the progression-free survival in metastatic melanoma patients (Figure 7).
